Knowledge I’ve Gained in the Ford PAS Class

How the Ford PAS Program Has Changed Me

Accomplishments
  • Obtained internship & Co/op position at Ford Motor Company’s Purchasing Department
    • I competed against ten other classmates for the summer internship
    • I assisted buyers in making their workload less stressful.
  • Improved my oral presentation skills
  • Exuded confidence in everything I do
  • I have grown tremendously and have become a more sophisticated person

    • I updated the information by “COB” every Tuesday.
  • Tool Order Follow-up
    • I placed each tool order in a spreadsheet, and listed its status. If there was a problem, the problem was annotated and who it was waiting on. If the tool order was awaiting “VTA,” I sent out an e-mail asking when it was going to be approved.
